Disease HIV/AIDS - frightening diseases that are very dangerous because they are contagious, besides what many people fear is that this disease is contagious. This HIV disease or virus attacks a person's immune system and causes the body to become weak. A person suffering from HIV does not always mean he also suffers from Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS). But many people call this disease HIV / AIDS. It takes years for people with this virus to develop AIDS. HIV / AIDS is an incurable disease. There is no cure for this disease, the hospital or doctor can only relieve the patient so that he does not experience pain. The drug is only useful for someone who has HIV or AIDS has a normal life with an optimal quality of life.

Causes of HIV
The cause of HIV is a retrovirus type of virus that causes acquired immune deficiency syndrome (AIDS). The HIV virus that is the cause of HIV / AIDS is a virus that can weaken a person's ability to fight infections and cancer. There are 2 types of HIV viruses, namely HIV-1 and HIV-2. HIV-1 is more virulent than HIV-2. Each tension strikes in a different geographical area but the symptoms shown are the same. People with the HIV virus who are said to have AIDS when they have certain infections or cancers or when the CD4 cell count (T cell) in the body is less than 200. The CD4 count is determined by a blood test in the laboratory. This disease is mostly caused by always changing sleeping partners, it is most easily transmitting the HIV Virus. Couples who have HIV will transmit the virus to their sleeping partners. Therefore avoid bad life like a dangerous night life. When we suffer or get a verdict of HIV, we may regret it, but it means nothing. Other causes are contaminated needles because they have been used in HIV patients, and the last is transmission from pregnant women to their babies.

Many doctors state that the most common cause of HIV / AIDS is through sexual intercourse or through transmission between needles and syringes which are generally carried out by drug users from the maternal placenta to the fetus. If only touching the skin it will not transmit HIV or AIDS. The virus will spread if there are things that enter the body.

Symptoms of HIV
Some people get HIV symptoms like flu within one month after being infected. These symptoms usually disappear within a week to a month. A person can have HIV disease for years before feeling sick and looking like a healthy person in general, without showing too obvious HIV symptoms. During the disease, people can experience fungal infections on the tongue and women can easily get severe vaginal yeast infections or pelvic inflammatory disease. Shingles is often seen early, often before someone is diagnosed with HIV disease.

Signs of symptoms of HIV or AIDS:
- Fever that doesn't heal.
- night sweats.
- Feel tired all the time (not from stress or lack of sleep).
- Feel sick all the time.
- Drastic weight loss.
- Swelling of lymph nodes such as round lumps in the neck, groin, or armpit).
- Sprue that doesn't heal.
- Typical infections that rarely occur in healthy people but can occur in people with AIDS:
- Kaposi's sarcoma, a skin tumor that looks like dark or purple patches on the skin or in the mouth.
Mental changes and headaches caused by fungal infections or tumors in the brain and spinal cord.
- Shortness of breath and difficulty breathing due to lung infection.
- Dementia, poor nutrition, chronic diarrhea.

Treatment of HIV / AIDS
As explained before, if there is no cure for HIV or AIDS, some hospitals have alternative ways to treat patients with HIV or AIDS. So the spread and growth of this disease in the body can be suppressed and slowed down with antiretroviral drugs (ARVs). Without treatment, almost everyone with HIV will fall into AIDS. When someone discovers that he has HIV, it is likely that the person does not start deciding to take the drug immediately even though HIV / AIDS treatment must begin as soon as possible. The decision to start antiretrovirals is seen in a person's past medical history, the length of time they have been infected, the number of CD4 T-cells, and current health conditions, and the commitment to adhere to the procedure for taking drugs to suppress the HIV / AIDS virus in his body.

Patient compliance is very important considering that HIV / AIDS treatment with ARVs is taken for life and once it is not compliant, it is feared that a resistance reaction or the resistance of the virus to antiretroviral drugs will occur while finding this drug requires years of research. Currently scientists are researching and developing HIV vaccines. The two main types of HIV vaccines currently being studied are vaccines for prevention and therapy. With the vaccine, infection with the HIV virus as a cause of HIV / AIDS is expected to be suppressed. By taking ARVs, a mother with HIV who is pregnant will not transmit to the baby she is carrying. However, preferably, people with HIV need to consult specifically with their doctors to plan labor until the right method for giving birth and breastfeeding because the virus that causes HIV / AIDS is in their body.

Thus, let's take care of our precious life, don't let us go wrong. Protect our family, love them so that they do not fall prey to dangerous promiscuity.
